Looking for a cheap Iphone 4…best way to buy one?

I currently have an iPhone 3G and am in desperate need of a new one. I reaaaally want the iPhone 4, but even with my upgrade, it would be at least $200 through AT&T for a refurbished one. I checked eBay, but the prices are pretty much similar to buying one directly from AT&T. Anyone have any suggestions as to where I can buy one cheaper? Or should I just settle for getting the $50 3GS? Can you tell me what the major differences are between the 3GS and the 4? (besides the front camera, facetime, etc.) Thanks!

If you can hold on until The New Iphone comes out, the price of the 4 will drop. It will probably be $100 for the 16gb.
