Is Apple making Iphone 5 or iOS 5?

I’m pretty sure its iOS 5 for Iphone 4 and iPod Touch. but my friends keep telling me “No, there’s an iPhone 5!” I went to the Apple website and I don’t see iPhone 5 , only iOS 5. I want to prove my friends wrong, is Apple making an iPhone 5, iOS 5, or both?

Apple is making both actually, so you won’t be proving anyone as being wrong. iOS 5 will be on the iPhone 5 and the OS will be an upgrade to most of the 4th Gen devices at some point as well.
